Women’s Sports Week is an opportunity to celebrate, raise awareness and increase the profile of women’s sport across the UK. During this week why not come to our ‘Have a go Pilates’ event to find out more and even try a few exercises on Wednesday 5th October 6pm – 8pm.
Our Physios teach Modified Pilates which is a safe way to improve your core muscle control especially if you are new to exercise, coming back to exercise after a baby, needing to improve your strength after an injury or managing a chronic condition. All the exercises can be modified to suit you even if you can’t get on to the floor or have other mobility issues. Our Physios have years of experience in making exercise easy and fun and there’s no need for special outfits or trainers – you do Pilates in your socks wearing loose clothing. We run small group Pilates lessons (maximum of 6 people) on Monday evenings, Wednesday mornings and Friday lunchtimes. Each course lasts 6 weeks.
