Janey holds a BSc (Hons) in Behavioural Sciences and has been a qualified Reflexologist since 1999 and a member of the Association of Reflexologists.
A co-founder of Bodywork, a former thriving practice in Hebden Bridge she expanded her work to include Reiki, Auricular Acupuncture, and Electrolysed Reduced Hydrogen Water protocols – a science-backed wellness approach supporting hydration, detoxification, and cellular health.
Janey’s career has taken her across the world – from working at Bamboo yoga retreat in South Goa to representing Reflexology Outreach International, teaching Reflexology to support those affected by HIV/AIDS, in Uganda. For the past two decades, her focus has been addiction and recovery, beginning in the NHS in 2004 and including specialist training at City Roads, London – one of the UK’s pioneering crisis intervention centres.
Through her Reflexology and recovery work, Janey has worked with an extraordinarily wide range of people — and has seen, time and again, the difference reflexology and simple lifestyle adjustments can make.
Janey’s philosophy is that many modern struggles stem from disconnection – from ourselves, others, and our place in nature. Her aim is simple: to offer a safe, nurturing space to rest, reset, and move forward with greater balance and resilience. Janey’s practice, Revive n Thrive, is built on the belief that the body has a remarkable capacity to heal when given the
right conditions.
Reflexology releases energy blockages and helps restore the body’s natural equilibrium and works on every level — physical, emotional, and energetic. Its greatest gift may be the one
clients often need most: mental calm and space in an overwhelming world.
